I am on my way to St. Louis tomorrow morning. Dad is presenting at the National Conference on Juvenile Justice on Tuesday. Mom called me over a month ago with a "crazy" idea - that I should join dad in St. Louis and I got permission to do it! I wish I could take advantage of every opportunity to spend time with my family like this.
We are staying in the Renaissance Grand and Suites downtown and I can't wait to eat and shop and learn...

um, i am realllly going to try and find a way to get to portland in april so i can give you a bear hug. it would be so sweet to see you out here!! seriously, i'll be 25 by then so it won't cost me extra to rent a car (the ONE good thing about turning 25) so i will try and save up to make it happen!! love you
