For me, a person that comes into contact with lots of different kinds of people, it is imperative for me to hear what they have to say but also for myself to be heard as well. But that doesn't always happen.
Some of my best conversations were with one or more other people and we would listen to each other...really listen and then share our opinion without really trying to change what the other person thinks. Listening...taking in what another person is saying without thinking about other things or what we are going to say next. We don't do that well...is it anymore...or have we ever listened to each other?
